The Challenge
RMR was facing an inefficient cost structure that made its products up to three times more expensive than the retail price on Amazon, severely limiting sales.
The majority of the product range could not be utilized effectively, mainly due to logistical constraints, products not accepted in certain Amazon fulfilment centres, and compliance issues.
Added to this were significant challenges related to importing between the U.S. and Canada: customs management, labelling, palletized transport and distribution. All of this complicated operations and reduced profitability.
The Objectives
RMR wanted to re-establish a viable cost structure to regain competitiveness on Amazon, while simplifying its logistics operations.
The aim was also to regain control of distribution, ensure full compliance and maximize performance across all channels, including Amazon and Costco.


The ProMerit Approach

A turnkey model was rolled out, covering the management of imports, transport, labelling and distribution to Amazon warehouses or directly to consumers where required.
